To earn Five Star status, one of the following must be met within a calendar year:

  • 10 rentals or $2,000 in car rental spend.3




President's Circle Program Benefits:

  • 50% bonus on Gold Plus Rewards points on all qualified rentals.2

To earn Hertz President’s Circle status, one of the following must be met within a calendar year:

  • 15 rentals or $3,000 in car rental spend.3

 



How to Request a Status Match:

 

Simply enroll in the Hertz Gold Plus Rewards Program then provide proof of your identity and proof of status with other car rental companies via email to hertzstatusmatch@hertz.com.

 

A. Proof of Identity (Please provide all)

  • First and last name as it appears on your Hertz account
  • Gold Plus Rewards Member Number
  • Name of Competitor Program to Match

 

B. Proof of Status with Other Car Rental Companies (Please provide one)

  • Copy of a welcome email
  • Copy of membership card 
  • Monthly statement indicating membership status

 

 

*Status match is up to Hertz President’s Circle tier and is only valid for those who have never participated in the status match prior, or if more than five years have passed since a prior status match. Applies to select competitors’ loyalty status. Matched status is valid through December 31 of the second calendar year following the member's status match approval after which member must meet the standard qualifications of that tier to remain eligible. If the member does not meet the standard qualifications within this period to stay in the matched tier, they will be downgraded to Hertz Gold.

3The qualifying rental count and car rental spend is based on rentals between January 1 thru December 31 of every year and will be reset on January 1 of the following year. Points earned and status tier are calculated using US Dollars or equivalent local currency.
